The Information Technology Division is responsible for developing and maintaining the technological infrastructure that powers ZIMSTAT’s data collection, analysis, and dissemination processes. The division ensures the security and integrity of all statistical information, facilitating public access through digital platforms and providing cutting-edge tools for data visualization.
Key Functions:
- Statistical Software Development: : Creating customized software tools to streamline data collection and processing, thus Developing and maintaining applications and systems for data collection, such as CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing), and CAWI (Computer-Assisted Web Interviewing), among others).
- Online Platforms and Data Visualization: Designing user-friendly websites and dashboards for accessing data, reports, and interactive visualizations.
- Data Security and Integrity: Ensuring that statistical data is secure, accurate, and accessible while maintaining privacy standards.
