These are compiled quarterly using both survey and administrative data.

  1. ICT Index (administrative data):The Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) Index is an economic indicator that measures the short-term changes in the volume of the ICT industry over time.

  3. ICT access by households and use by individuals’ statistics (survey data): The survey is designed to collect data and produce statistics on access to and use of ICTs by households and individuals to determine the level of the digital divide in the country.

–Key indicators produced are household internet access, individual internet use, mobile ownership and use, computer ownership and use, etc.

  • The index is compiled using telecommunications administrative data on postal letters (number of domestic letters), courier services (number of couriers), mobile internet and data used (TB), fixed voice traffic (minutes of use), and mobile voice traffic (minutes of use).
