The Zimbabwe National Statistics Office (ZimStat) offers an internship program to provide students and recent graduates with practical experience in statistical research, data collection, analysis, and reporting. This program allows individuals to develop their professional skills while contributing to national data initiatives.

We welcome applications from:

• University and college students pursuing degrees in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in statistical and data-related work.

• Individuals with a keen interest in national data collection, analysis, and policy development.

Interns at ZimStat will have the opportunity to:

• Work alongside experienced statisticians and data analysts.
• Gain exposure to large-scale national surveys and censuses.
• Develop analytical and technical skills in data processing and reporting.

Interns at ZimStat will have the year

• Internships are offered on a rolling basis throughout the year.
• The duration typically ranges from six months to 12 Months, depending on the project and availability.
• Interns may be assigned to different departments based on their skills and academic background.
